Can you oven bake with this breadcrumbs, not just deep fry?
Answer: You can bake the coated product thru the oven but it turns very pale and doesn’t look very good. Rather than deep fry, have you considered shallow frying the product once it’s coated with the crumb? I do this with chicken breast and pork cutlet and fish fillets. Use about 1 inch of veg oil in a frying pan and once you have got some colour on the crumb - take out, drain on kitchen paper and place on a tray in the oven to continue cooking. Just be careful on the oil temperature. Hope this helps. -

Answer: When I looked at this I thought wow 377 calories for 100 grams!? But having looked into it, that is actually (sadly!) correct. Breading is fattening it seems! Then add the oil on top of that! Eek… -
