Glide Gear SNC100 Editorial Review
The Glide Gear SNC100 Video Camera Snorricam is gaining a solid reputation among content creators looking for innovative ways to capture dynamic footage. Users appreciate its ability to produce unique point-of-view (POV) shots, enabling filmmakers to feature their talent in an immersive manner. While some initial concerns about its aesthetic might deter potential buyers ("it looks dorky"), the functionality of the harness far outweighs these visual concerns. Prospective users have found the rig especially effective when paired with small cameras, as it provides stability during movement, even at full speed. There are mentions of using heavier equipment, such as the Sony A7S with a Rokinon 35mm lens, suggesting that the harness can handle significant payloads without compromising safety or performance. Customers have praised the extensive adjustability, allowing for an optimal fit, though a few commented on the necessity of adding extra foam for larger users. User feedback highlights a high level of customer service, particularly in addressing any issues with assembly. One user reported a problem with improperly machined components but clearly appreciated the quick response and resolution from Glide Gear, showcasing the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, the Glide Gear SNC100 offers an affordable solution for filmmakers seeking to elevate their visual storytelling through unique camera angles, making it a worthy addition to any filmmaker's kit. **
