Answer: No, the installation process is easy and straightforward. -

My ignition switch broke in half because of age would it kill all Power trim as well?
Answer: When my switch is in the off position my trim still works. There fore the trim is independent of the switch as far as I can determine. -

Does this have push to choke option?
Answer: Yes I think so. My Merc is fuel injected so I don’t ever choke it but the key does appear to press in to choke. -

Does it have push to choke and will it fit my 115 mercury?
Answer: Yes, it’s a push to choke switch and will fit your motor. -

Will this match/fit 1996 mercury 200 efi?
Answer: I do not know. My best advice is to go to the Mercury website and check. -

Answer: Not sure but it worked on my '85 Mercury 25xd outboard. -

Answer: I can't say positively but I'm guessing it will work. It seemed universal for the Merc 4 stroke. I used it for my 40hp 4 stroke and it was wire for wire replacement. -

What is switch work for a 1981 Tri Hull?
Answer: Boat style has nothing to do with whether or not the switch will work on it. Pertains to year and make of engine only. -

Which of these switches will work for a 40hp Marine outboard engine?
Answer: The indicated switch worked for my 40 hp 4-stroke Mercury engine.
