The attractive dish is perfect for holding your favorite nuts and even has a built-in shell storage compartment. The top plate measures about 6.5" x 6.5" and the bottom plate measures about 9" x 9". However, the top tray rests lightly on the bottom tray and there is no way to lock them in place. Some users reported the top tray sliding around or becoming dislodged. While it is made of wood, it is not recommended for the dishwasher. Overall, customers found this nut bowl to be both beautiful and functional. The design is clever and convenient for eating nuts, and it exceeded their expectations. Others found it to be of poor quality, with the top plate being a little unsteady and not fitting perfectly over the shell collection dish.
