ICOM Headsets & Microphones 7545868735 Editorial Review
Icom HM-158LA Compact Speaker Mic The Icom HM-158LA Compact Speaker Mic is an excellent accessory for those looking for a smaller and lighter microphone option. Unlike the large microphone that comes with some radios, this compact speaker mic is lightweight and does not pull on your uniform, keeping it looking professional. The audio output of this speaker mic is crisp, clear, and audible. Speech is easily understandable when the mouth is within 6 inches of the microphone. It is recommended to turn up the microphone gain on your radio to fully benefit from this accessory. One reviewer mentioned that they initially didn't realize the size of the mic and expected it to be larger. However, despite its small size, they found it to work great and are impressed with its sturdiness. It is evident that this mic is built to last. Customers have also been pleased with the compatibility of this speaker mic. It works with various Icom models, including IC-f4001, F3103D, F3021s, and IC-v86. Overall, the Icom HM-158LA Compact Speaker Mic receives positive feedback for its clear audio, lightweight design, and compatibility with different radio models. It is a reliable accessory that enhances communication, making it a great investment for professionals in need of a compact and efficient speaker mic.
