The Rock Slide Slides Editorial Review
The Rock Slide Aged Brass Balltip Ariel Posen Signature slide has garnered a diverse range of experiences from users, highlighting its design nuances and performance capabilities in slide guitar play. For many, the standout feature is the snug fit it provides, which allows for improved intonation and control. Several reviewers noted that the unique cut on the underside accommodates finger bends, enhancing comfort and stability during play. This fit is Considered essential for slide guitarists, especially for those transitioning from glass slides to brass variants. The sound quality received mixed feedback; while some users expressed a preference for the heavier tones of glass slides, they acknowledged the precision and fit of the Rock Slide outweighs their sound preferences. Overall, many players felt that the performance enhancements made possible by the slide justified the switch from their previous options. However, the slide's aesthetics have been a point of contention, particularly with the aged brass finish, which some users critiqued for being less durable than expected, describing it as a simple black coating that wears off quickly. Despite these critiques, the bulk of the feedback reflects a solid appreciation for the slide’s functionality and design. In summary, the Rock Slide Ariel Posen Signature slide is celebrated for its perfect fit and improved playability, though potential buyers should be cautious regarding the durability of its finish. **
