However, the Ito En Oi Ocha Dark Green Tea contains about 50mg of caffeine per 8 oz, and the non-bold version of the same tea contains 60mg of caffeine per bottle. The product is manufactured in Taiwan, and it comes in plastic bottles. Though it's not the same tea sold in a bag by the Kirkland brand, it's made by the same company, and the bottled tea is milder in flavor. Since freight costs have increased due to covid-19, the price of the product has almost doubled. The product's flavor has changed slightly and recently. Some have noticed it. Most of the feedback from customers has been positive when on a discount. The tea has a bitter taste, which is a testament to its authenticity and lack of added sugars or sweeteners.
