Velo StayTop Kit Chainstay & 8 Frame Savers Clear Chainstay Protectors

The Velo StayTop Kit Chainstay & Frame Savers have garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers, particularly focusing on the material quality and adhesive performance. Despite being marketed as "clear," many users have found the protectors to be semi-transparent or somewhat opaque, which has caused disappointment. A recurring theme in the reviews is the inConsistency in adhesive quality; while some stickers adhere well to bike frames, others fail to stick altogether—a problem that seems linked to quality control at the manufacturing stage. Overall, the thicker material has been praised for its durability and ability to protect against wear from cables and rack arms. However, several reviewers reported that the rough, yellowish appearance detracts from the aesthetics of their bikes, deeming it unsuitable, especially for road bikes. This has led to some customers returning their products. Despite the issues reported, customer service experiences appear positive, with refunds being offered when stickers did not meet expectations. The Velo StayTop Kit is perceived as an adequate solution for protecting specific areas on a bike, but potential buyers should be cautious and prepared for possible variations in product quality and appearance. **
