24 in. White TOP Control 47 DBA Built-in Dishwasher, Energy Star

The Summit Appliance DW242WADA dishwasher has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a difficult mix of performance and customer service experiences. Many users initially appreciated the manufacturer's commitment to creating a well-made appliance, as indicated by a repeat customer who expressed intent to purchase again. However, the satisfaction ends there for others, as numerous reports have highlighted a significant lack of functionality and efficiency. A recurring theme among dissatisfied customers is the difficulty in loading dishes due to the design of the racks, which does not accommodate standard dish shapes as fluidly as users might expect. Additionally, even when utilizing the machine's extra dry feature, many find their dishes emerging from the cycle damp—a stark contrast to their previous dishwashers, leaving some with regrets about their purchase. Customer service experiences have further compounded frustrations, with reports of slow responses and ineffective repairs. After experiencing a malfunction from the outset, one customer detailed a painful back-and-forth with service teams that yielded no resolution, resulting in an extended wait for parts and an unclear timeline for a solution. In summary, while the Summit DW242WADA might appeal to some customers with certain build quality, its loading design and overall effectiveness leave much to be desired. Those seeking reliability and effective customer support may want to explore alternative options. **
