Instruction Editorial Review

The Manuel (Folio Plus Philosophie) (French Edition) has received positive feedback from customers with the majority stating that the book corresponds to the philosophy program and is a great product. However, one customer bought the book to read the presentation by Danielle Moyse but found that the author lacks knowledge about stoicism. The edition has a beautiful but outdated translation by Andre Dacier. The Entretiens d'Epictète has a poor and interpretative translation by Andre Dacier for the 18th century public. Despite this, the Manuel d'Epictète is an excellent little book that summarises the stoic philosophy and is an enjoyable read for students. The book is interesting, and some customers have discovered the stoicism discipline to be life-changing.
