Unlike other telescopes that only produce pinpoint stars across a curved focal plane, the EdgeHD optics guarantee visibly sharp stars across some of the largest CCD chips available today.
With our True Astrograph Quality, you can capture rounder, more pleasing stars that improve resolution and limiting magnitude compared to other telescopes of equal aperture. We've also taken mechanical features into consideration. The redesigned telescope tube not only optimizes the optical design, but also ensures that you get the most from your optics each and every night. The flexible tension clutches hold the mirror in place and reduce image shift during long exposure astro-images.
The cooling vents on the rear cell allow hot air to be released from behind the primary mirror, ensuring optimal performance. The EdgeHD 11 Optical Tube Assembly CGE Dovetail offers unparalleled versatility. At its native f/10, you can capture the smallest of deep sky objects with the necessary image scale.
