The sharpener is decent and the scraper is cheap plastic. They are fragile and break easily under pressure. The set is recommended for people who like well-pigmented coloring crayons but not as oil pastels. The set comes with a pastel holder and scraper to make different kinds of lines. The silver and gold shades are not very vibrantly metallic. They work like the Faber-Castell hexagonal shaped pastels in the texture they give, but are smaller. Overall, the set is still worth buying with a lot of color options.
