Answer: Yes, it includes installation screws for easy setup. -

What size and shape of hole is needed to install these handles?
Answer: For these to sit flush, they must be routed or chiseled to two different depths. The first is the square dimension 2.24"x3.31" to a depth of approximately 1/4". Another irregular U-shape must be cut in for the depth of the handle at approximately another 1/4". -
Question:
Would these be good to use for a porch swing to attach to a deck during high winds?
Answer: Absolutely not. Only designed to lift hatch cover, maybe 100 lbs. Not 2 old fat people on a porch swing. -
Question:
How do you install these?
Answer: If the material you are installing them in is about 3/4" thick or less, you cut an oval hole for the back of the handle to fit through. If thickness is greater than about 3/4" you need to chisel or rout out an oval depression for the back of the handle to nest in.
