The amp is compatible with 2, 4, and 8-ohm speaker impedances. A 24V power supply with at least 4.5A is recommended for full power. The first unit broke down during assembly, and the other didn't power on. However, some reviewers report that the amplifier works well under the right speaker set and enclosure. The smallest gain pot needs to be maxed out to get adequate volume. The linear volume control knob doesn't function optimally because it goes from barely audible to much louder with no sensible in-between. Another reviewer warns that the chip advertised isn't used, and the product won't produce 100W power output on a full volume setting.
