Has anyone used it successfully on a 20 year old Universal Rundle Toilet?
Answer: No, I had not used the bowl gasket, but only used few other components in the kit. However, another problem I have noticed is a leaky tank, and the way it was solved may help some others. Most of the nuts and bolts connecting the tank to the bowl are made of different metals/alloys. The bolts are usually made of brass and the nuts and metal washers made of stainless steel. When dissimilar metals are close to each other and are immersed in water, often there is rusting. These rust particles get loose and get lodged in between the seals resulting in leaks from the tank. I have been able to solve this problem by using stainless steel bolts, nuts and metal washers, in addition to the rubber washers that are essential components. -
