Perko Navigation Lights 1184DP0CHR Editorial Review
The Perko 1184DP0CHR Vertical-Mount Fold-Down Combination Masthead White All-Round Light has received a mix of reviews from customers who have utilized it as a replacement for existing masthead lights on their boats. Many users are pleased with the product, highlighting its quality and fit as it often serves as a direct replacement for older models, some dating back to 1997. The quality of the light is frequently praised, suggesting that it meets the expectations set by previous models. However, customers have pointed out a significant issue regarding the orientation of the base: the product image may depict the base at a 90-degree angle to the light, while the actual product received has the base aligned with the light's direction. This discrepancy has led some users to either drill new holes for mounting or repurpose their old base to ensure proper installation. Such details are critical for customers seeking a hassle-free replacement. Overall, while the Perko masthead light offers durability and quality, potential buyers should be aware of the mounting orientation to avoid installation complications. **
