The batteries are included, and it is a simple swap out with the existing batteries. However, it is essential to verify on the APC website that this will work with your UPS model. This product is not always clearly advertised as an APC officially branded product, but the battery replacements come with an APC sticker. You can tell if it is a genuine APC battery if it has a white 1.5" x 5" sticker with the serial number and date code on the battery. The year is the 3 and 4th digits, and the week is the 5th and 6th digits. The country of the battery's origin is the US. Customer feedback on this product is mixed. Some customers are pleased with their purchase, describing the product as a perfect fit with well-protected packaging.
