Is c&s berry flavored nuggets (purple bag) better at attracting bluebirds than the c&s bluebird nuggets (yellow bag)?
Answer: I did not notice a difference between the two products. Once the blue birds find your feeder, they remember it and keep visiting. -
Question:
Birds are not interested in the nuggets. How do we get them to even just try them?
Answer: Some bird thrive on the nuggets. It's an excellent Winter food because of the fat ingredient. -
Question:
Can you mix flavors of suet nuggets? Meaning has anyone ever combined a variety of flavors into one feeder? Or is it best to feed 1 flavor per feeder?
Answer: I tried mixing the orange and peanut butter but our birds ignored the feeder. Had to go back to just one flavor. The birds around our place are very picky eaters. Who'd have thought they'd be so fussy with free food. -
Question:
We have a lot of Catbirds come visit our yard. I've been trying to find the right food and feeder for them. Would these appeal to Catbirds?
Answer: Catbirds will enjoy this food. It's basically a mixture of berry and seeds with some suet.
