The Ticonn RFID blocking cards claim to protect your credit cards and other cards against electronic pickpocketing, where your personal information can be stolen via RFID or NFC skim. They are made in China and provide indefinite protection. Customers have reported mixed experiences with the product. Some people have tested the cards using readers and were unable to read any information from cards when in the same wallet as a Ticonn card, confirming the efficacy of the product. Others have been able to read their cards even with the Ticonn card in their wallet. Therefore, there may be some concerns about the design of the product’s technology. However, the slim design makes them easy to use as they can be placed in between credit cards in a wallet. Some customers also find the peace of mind it gives them to be worth the purchase. The cards are not individually packaged, and they can be put in an iPhone wallet case, but customers need to keep it on top to shield it. While most people had a positive experience, some found that the product did not work for them at all. Lastly, the product directions state that the RFID card has to be within one inch of the credit card to protect it. Therefore, there could be potential interference with Apple Airtags that are placed in a wallet near the Ticonn card.
