Answer: I would guess it might because it works on skin, which is what leather is. Also, non-toxic as well as being inexpensive. If it doesn't work on your purse, it won't go to waste, because it has so many other uses. -

Answer: We cannot guarantee that Amodex can work on old stains especially if other cleaning agents have already been applied which may have set the ink. Best suggestion is to coat the stained area with Amodex and let it sit overnight before rinsing with a brush. Use to brush to be a bit abrasive to loosen any residue. If the stain is any lighter, Amodex will work- It will just take multiple applications. -
