They have a strong grip strength and are particularly useful for removing snapped wood screws. However, they may not be as effective on every damaged fastener. The pliers have no release spoon, making the release of the strong grip somewhat awkward. The hex bolt/pin on the bottom of the pliers makes it easy to tighten or loosen the pin. The pliers lack the feel of a premium tool but may be useful to have as an addition to your tool collection.
