There is also a valve around the outside of the button that can be turned for Constant steam. The iron is easy to fill up by unscrewing the cap on top, and the steam it generates dissipates quickly and doesn't leave garments damp. In terms of maintenance, you should clear out the water each time you use it to avoid clogging. If you leave the water in, it could turn dark and cause clogging, so ensure all water is removed, and the iron is warm when cleaning. Although the iron does not include a rubber mat, you can purchase the mat to help protect the plate of the iron. Replacement parts are also available online should the iron require repair. Despite its high price range, the EuroSteam iron is a great investment if you do a lot of ironing.
