The diffuser requires a power cord and is compatible with Alexa. The diffuser is universal voltage and comes with a 6 feet cord. The hotel for home collection does not work with the smart line. If you face any issues with the product, you can contact Aera Customer Care. The users can control the settings of the diffuser, and it's effortless to use. However, one user mentioned that it does not work with 220v, and they would be more comfortable if you asked the manufacturer. One user loved the idea of the diffuser but was disappointed with the scent's coverage as it barely covered a 2ft away. The scent did not smell good, and it was not worth the price of $200+. Another user ordered four of them but all four of them were broken as there were broken plastic pieces inside. They believe that the gear mechanism is cheap plastic and could fix them by changing this one piece to metal or a thicker more durable plastic.
