Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium is a product intended for transferring photos onto various surfaces like fabric, wood, and stone. It is advisable to use photo medium instead of regular matte modge podge for transfers because the photo medium has more adhesion to hold onto the ink better. However, this product is thick, so it is a good idea to mix water into it to thin it out. The photo transfer medium does not require any sealer for protection after being transferred. The users can use this product on any type of paper for printing pictures simply. On the contrary, some negative customer experiences were also reported for this product. Some users complained that the product is not effective for photo transfer as they were not satisfied with the results. Users must be experienced to use this product as it is thick and requires proper steps following, and poor results emerge out of a lack of precision or carelessness while using the product. It only works efficiently on fabric and does not perform well on canvas or glass. Some users also faced difficulty in transferring ink to the desired surface despite using Mod Podge’s instructions or other methods found online. Additionally, it should be noted that the product dries out white instead of clear, so it may not be suited to some projects. Overall, suppose that one is skilled in transferring photos and follows the product instructions correctly.
