Answer: I live in a rural area, and did experience disconnects. This was attributed to voltage fluctuation. Since the power supply was upgraded 2 years ago I have not had a problem. Have you asked the Help Desk? -

I currently have a netgear 3000 rp booster. it's getting old. can i get a new one and just replace of the old one in with no set up?
Answer: No, as the settings are stored in the repeater itself. However, remember the setup is extremely simple, as you only have to press both WPS buttons, the one on the repeater, and the one on your modem. -
