    Answer: I can't see why not, the powder coating is good. They will eventually rust outdoors though. Nice product, I have two
  • Question: Hi do you have to store lumber on it or can you use for other storage purposes to utilise garage storage?

    Answer: I use it for lumber and all other leftover materials, pipes etc. It’s strong and well made.
  • Question: Plasterboard wall with hollow space then breezeblocks. With the supplied fixings hold adequately to the plasterboard? Storing wood.

    Answer: No, you would need special plasterboard high load carrying fixings.
  • Question: I need to fit them on a brick wall in my garage, can anyone advice which screws and rawl plugs would I need? Thanks

    Answer: I used 100mm x 6mm standard screws into large 7mm standard wall plugs. The rack has been up a few months FULLY loaded with oak. I've had no issues. The thing to remember is that the force is a shear force down the plane of the wall so the pull-out force on the plugs is not the critical factor IMHO. Any good quality heavy gauge screws or bolts should suffice with decent tight fitting plugs
  • Question: What is the largest diameter fixing that can be used to fix this to my garage wall? Would a bolt that needs a 10mm clearance fit through the frame?

    Answer: Not sure but probably not. You could easily drill the holes bigger but obviously if you then have a problem returning it would be an issue. From memory I used 10mm plugs will 6mm diameter screws. I have the rack fully loaded with oak planks and beams and I've had no issues. Hope this helps.
