Answer: LugoTab is a combination of Iodine and Potassium Iodide. There is 12.5mg total per tablet. 5mg of Iodine, 7.5mg Potassium Iodide. -

Will these stain your tongue or teeth like Lugol's liquid? Some say they fall apart. Is there color on the tongue or teeth?
Answer: No the pills don’t stain your mouth or teeth. As for the liquid I’ve only used that on skin. To gross to taste most people put the liquid in a capsule. -

How large are these pills in relationship to the paper clip?
Answer: As there are various sized paper clips, I'd say each tab is more like two baby aspirin side by side. Each is scored so that one could take one half the dose. -

What form of silica is in this? Where does it come from?
Answer: Thank you for the question. The silica in our product is colloidal silica made from elemental silicon. This is a naturally occurring, inactive ingredient. We manufacture and punch of our tablets at our facility in small batches, so it helps our machines run smoothly. In the pharmaceutical industry, colloidal silicon dioxide has many uses in tablet-making, including as an anti-caking agent to allow powder to flow freely when tablets are processed. These compounds appear to be biologically inert. Silicon dioxide is generally recognized as safe by the FDA. -

Just received a bottle, but no expiration date indicated. How long are these good for?
Answer: The expiration date is small. Just under the 12.5 on the front of the bottle. -
