This product is a 40g silica gel desiccant dehumidification canister that works really well to help control paper tray humidity. It can be heated in the oven to drive off the absorbed water and reused again and again. They are small and can be placed anywhere, such as a gun safe that has a fire/waterproof seal that's supposed to keep moisture out or plastic storage containers of approximately 35 gallons. A plus is that they work great and maintain 16% humidity in an enclosed container. The downside is that some customers had an issue with the amount of desiccant included in each canister. Some people expected 40g of desiccant, but it only came with 27g. Although, it does not affect the functionality of the product as it works great.
