The NEARPOW Digital Timer has an accurate to-the-second time function and is capable of switching at least 1500 watts, and is virtually soundless during operation. The programming can be a bit confusing, but is straightforward once understood. The timer can be used to control two appliances that are sometimes on together, but where the total amperage is 6amps or so @ 110-120V independently. It is capable of doing cycles from 1 second to 24 hours and up to 9 On/Off cycles per day. The included manual for programming is confusing and requires a serious rewrite. Some found it tricky to set up and some found that it did not work at all. However, several customers found it a great product, with one customer mentioning that it was as simple as they come, and useful in dosing chemicals into reef tanks.
